In 2024, Techworks collaborated with our amazing partner, Radious, for six successful Rad Workdays. The events took place in January, March, May, July, September, and November. They offered a friendly space for coworking, networking, and important discussions. The Radious spaces we held each Workday at created a refreshing environment that inspired collaboration and creativity.
The flexible structure of the Rad Workdays made it easy to connect and learn, no matter how long attendees decided to stay. Each space was booked from 10 am to 4 pm, and attendees could sign up for specific time slots or stay the whole day. For those who joined us throughout the year, these events became an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
Lunch and Learn: A Highlight of Every Workday
In January, we started the lunch and learn sessions, which quickly became the favorite part of Rad Workdays. Each session had a predetermined topic to encourage group discussions.
These topics often sparked conversations that went well beyond the scheduled hour. The engagement and energy from these sessions were unmatched. Many participants walked away inspired and eager for the next discussion.
Lunch Topics from 2024:
- January: Employee Engagement
A lively discussion about strategies to keep teams motivated and connected in an evolving workplace.
- March: Work Location Debate: WFH, Return to Office, or Hybrid
Attendees debated the merits and challenges of different work models, sharing their perspectives on what works best.
- May: Roundtable Discussion: "The Blessings & Curses of AI"
A thought-provoking conversation on the double-edged nature of artificial intelligence in the workplace.
- July: Employee Experience Discussion
This session covered how to create an exceptional work experience. From recruiting and hiring to well-being, flexibility, and autonomy.
- September: AI in Marketing
Justin from Neesh.AI presented using AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline marketing projects. This session was so engaging that attendees requested follow-ups to learn more about getting projects "80% done" faster.
- November: Financial Wellness for 2025
Participants explored strategies to enhance financial well-being, both personally and professionally, as they prepared for the year ahead.
These sessions were not just about learning—they were about connecting. Attendees shared ideas, tackled challenges, and left with actionable insights they could take back to their organizations. To fuel the attendees, Techworks provided lunch for each session.
Beyond the Sessions: Networking and Coworking
Post lunch, we switched into casual coworking and networking mode. This is where the true magic happened. The Rad Workday environment fostered spontaneous collaborations and deep connections between tech professionals, turning casual conversations into meaningful professional relationships.
Our community has grown with a core group of dedicated attendees, making these workdays essential to their routine. Their consistent presence has created a dynamic ecosystem. Newcomers instantly feel welcomed, and long-time members continue to find fresh perspectives and opportunities.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we plan for the year ahead, we're committed to making Rad Workdays even better. Whether it's diving deeper into innovative topics, expanding lunch and learn sessions, or welcoming new faces. We're excited to see the community grow. We're crafting an environment where innovation meets community, expanding our educational offerings while preserving the spontaneous interactions that make our space unique.
Our commitment goes beyond providing a workspace. We're cultivating an ecosystem where professionals can thrive, learn, and shape the future of collaborative work together.
